I come from a tradition that says: bible study fixes everything. But it was jarring in a good way. The person that first said it (and neither he nor I had ever heard it before, it just came up in conversation) has since recanted; for me (and I study the Bible, and teach regularly) it really captured a necessary perspective and propelled me into a significant adjustment. Nice mention, quite apt.&lt;/i&gt;
