The Solid Unseen

So flimsy.
Three puffs of flimsy air
Shaped by cords of flesh
Propel vibrations my way.
Invisible air concussed,
Silent, vibrates in my ear,
Setting miracles in motion.
Thoughts ride on audible air,
Vibrate inner ear intricacies–
Sounds are heard, interpreted;
Your thoughts received, held;
My life turned, delivered.
Say those thoughts again-
“I love you.”
Solid as Everest rock.

Beautiful, Dad.
Elisha,
Not as beautiful as you, though.
Thanks for the kind encouragement.
Dad
john like I said in your office: you are so creative with your writing! I love the transition from breath to rock and the weight of these words in the life of a person, even though they appear so effortless on our part. Oh if Humanity would learn the weight of Love…Oh if ‘I’ would learn it’s weight in the lives of those around me…
bravo, as always!

Powerful poem.
Jeremy,
I want to probe the glory inherent in the ordinary, i.e., every bush is a burning buish if we just had eyes to see. Thanks for your affirmation.
Preacherman,
Thanks, friend.
“I love you”. The most powerful thoughts we can ever hear.
Fred,
I agree, especially if those words come from the mouth of God.
Bryan Riley,
Thanks. Note change.
