John, I'm a late-comer here.... very late! Once upon a time I had a pastor at a former church who laid out a very well-assembled biblical view of money. Some years later I came across John MacArthur's book "Whose Money Is It Anyway?" (now possibly out of print but available at Amazon); lo and behold, many of these views were taken thought-for-thought from MacArthur's work, particularly the separation of OT and NT views of giving. I thought MacArthur gave well-studied treatment of money and a Christian's relationship to it. In regard to tithing, that ever-controversial issue, he was much more thorough in supporting from Scripture his own view than any of the big-name Christian experts on the subject of money. In any case, as I glean from your review that Weddle's book apparently didn't offer much new insight and focused more on greed than money, I'm always interested to hear recommendations for books on money-related topics that you have found to be helpful. Thanks.
