Repentance is the other side of the coin of "believe on the Lord Jesus Christ" as Lord and Savior. No matter how many Chick tracts or sermons wrongly teach that repentance is "turning from your sin" or "turning 180-degrees around", there will be no turning from sin until there is a new heart given by God BY GRACE. Thus repentance as a "turning from sin" is simply not biblical. It's (as the core meaning of the word implies) a "change of mind" (about sin and about Jesus Christ) which is a result of the new birth.
