“Love one another…”
Mar 28th, 2008 by John
Ray Minnema and Shelby Kasen
I wrote some posts back that we had a Maundy Thursday service at Fellowship Covenant. At one point in the service, Ray (84) blessed Shelby (11) and washed her feet. Shelby, in turn, blessed Ray and washed his feet. One old, one young; one man, one young girl. They represented all of us that night as we remembered Jesus’ love in washing the disciples’ feet.
A holy sweetness marked those moments in the service.

John,
Thanks for sharing this photo. It speaks louder than words. Beautiful stuff!
Wes,
Thanks. Ray and Shelby are wonderful people.
Wonderful photo.
I believe love is the center of Christianity and service is our action out of the love that God has demonstrated for us through His son Jesus Christ.
I pray God’s love be poured over into your lap and life.
I pray that His wonderous blessing be make known in ways you have never imagined before.
God bless you brother as you have been a blessing to so many including myself.
John you are a true blessing to His Church.
Preacherman,
I appreciate your warm and encouraging words. God bless you, too, my friend and pastoral colleague.
Beautiful. That ’s what church is supposed to be.
Fred,
I agree. Thanks much.
