God must be trying to teach me something today. I was searching for the reference to a specific verse I kept 'hearing' in my heart today and when I did, I ran across a TON of references to mealtimes using my particular search criteria. Then, I really think God put it on my heart to visit your blog, which I haven't done in quite some time...sure enough...meals.

One thought that came to mind is that Aamir's family is very much still in tune with certain age-old mealtime rituals and their meanings. For instance, some Indian meals are eaten without any utensils...a practice I haven't yet adopted ;). Each time a meal is served with a twist of the norm, they fill me in...tell my why. "This is how our mother did it" or "It is customary in our faith to eat (or not) at this time beacuse..." or "Back in India, it is customary to do this because..." etc

I am curious to see what twist of the norm God is trying to show me about meals - I'm sure it's more figurative than trying to convince me to eat saucy meals with my hands :).
