I am a pastor in South Africa. Studied theology at the University of Stellenbosch (1980-1986). We tried to guide our people in our churches through the transition from "apartheid" to democracy. We are actually still busy with that to some extent. It was very difficult leaving all the years and influences that justified apartheid behind and grasping the "new" interpretation of the Bible. I  know we still have remnants of the apartheid era in our churches in South Africa. The younger generation is our hope of concluding what started in 1994. 
I will be following this over the next few days to se what Burridge is saying and maybe even comment from to time. Looking forward to it.</description>
