Deadly Zealous

Zealous Servant
by
John W Frye
Just a cup of cold water
Smashed into my face.
The zealous servant left me,
With water, oh for sure,
And with bits of glass
And blood and water mixed
Gushing from my mouth.
Friends, zeal without love
Mimics the devil’s way.

It’s so good to hear from you again. Thanks for stopping by and commenting. It looks like I need to get at the poetry
Blessings on you, your family and ministry.
John wooed me with his poetry when we met, dated and were engaged at Moody Bible Institute. “He got me at”/ with poetry.

Reading it again give a new meaning and perspective.
I love that about poetry.
Preacherman,
I think that’s why I like poetry, too. After you read it, it works on you.
