Ah, Shamar, Shamar, what am I going to do with you? I didn’t say Chris *was* a Navy SEAL. Read it. I wrote “…he *works with* the Navy SEALS.” I know, I should have said Chris is “swcc” but I forgot what it means.

Yes, Chris had incredibly exceptional insight in picking girl friends, at least, his current one.

dad, he is in swcc not seals =) and he does have amazing taste in girlfriends doesn’t he…now anyway…=)

Hey John! Sounds like you had a great time at the convention. I’m glad Julie got some time with the fam, too. What a great trip!

Just thinking about the Rwandan conflict makes me sick… and now this troubling bit about 90% being Christians. Pastors slaughtering others. Wow! Makes me wonder what kind of a future our “Christian nation” has.

In other news, I took the ennegram test (finally) … actually I only took the sampler/quick version, which said I am type 5. Very intriguing stuff!

I think it is so wonderful that you have had a blessed week. I wish I could have gone but still tied up with thing here at home. I pray that God has strengthened you brother. I know that when I get to go to confrences and meet fellow bloggers and minister it is always a source of strength in ways I never thought. I pray that has been that way for you too brother. Your blog is always a source of strength for me and as I read this I am encouraged and built up in my faith. I want to thank you so much for sharing this with us.

I, too, wished you could have come down to the NPC. I did have a great time mingling with good friends and meeting new friends. Next year in San Diego! Feb 10-13, ‘09.
